Introverts should not back away from networking and marketing.  Lack of credibility is the single greatest reason people do not buy. Carol Deckert  Introverts have many skills that enhance credibility, such as being naturally good listeners.

The suggestion to be yourself is right on.  As a fellow introvert, it has really helped over the past year working with you to become more aware of being an introvert and choose what I do with more forethought.

The theme of this post seems to be:
